Spectrum.Life is a brand that while people may have experienced, they did not necessarily know. We were approached by our old friends at the amazing agency UnitedUs who were creating a whole new brand identity for Spectrum.Life, including film, stills, website, branding; this was a complete overhaul.
Under the tagline of Full Spectrum care for a Full Spectrum Life, they wanted to create a film that connected with the viewer emotionally, whilst telling them what Spectrum.Life has to offer. This was truly music to our ears and in the pitch-phase, we came up with the concept of tellling the story of a single family unit, with each member going through slightly different experiences to one another, while also exploring where these overlapped. This allowed us to cover the key areas for which the business wished to explore.
Once we won the project, we started to work more closely with UnitedUs to really understand how the film could look and feel whilst gaining a deeper understanding for the business.

The Response
We created a story and a visual approach that allowed us to stretch the budget as much as we can, without sacrificing the quality and especially the emotionally-led storytelling that was at the heart of this piece. As with all of our treatments, we consider it the foundation of the piece, which we build upon with our agency partners and the client to hone it and create the best piece of work we possibly could, together.
One of our key tenets of the whole film was something that always remains central to every film we make - genuine emotion is at the heart of what we are trying to capture. United Us and Spectrum.Life were fully on board with this and later informed us that it was why our own work stood out to them - capturing the interstitial moments that bring stories and moments to life.

The Result

We truly believe that a talented and happy crew is at the heart of everything we create and without such professionals who collaborate with us time and time again, we could not have captured such a s
