We’ve been working with Square Enix since the original Life Is Strange game released over 10 years ago. In that time, we have worked on numerous titles, but have been forever connected to Life Is Strange. When Lucy Hale and the team behind the new installation of Life Is Strange: Double Exposure got in touch in late 2023 about shooting the announce content, we were so excited to re-visit the franchise.

Fast-forward 6 months after our shoot in Denver with the team at Deck Nine Games we had another job on the cards with Square Enix. The job time, to create a series of live-music sessions with the musicians behind the new Life Is Strange soundtrack with music wizards Feel For Music at Metropolis Studios. With such a beautiful soundtrack and such a beautiful look to the game, we knew this was a perfect match up. Our team have a huge amount of experience shooting music videos and live-sessions and this blend of sound and aesthetic was extremely welcome.

The Brief

The Response

We pulled together a mood-board based on the work of our proposed crew, knowing that the team had the capability the beautiful aesthetic we were proposing. We recce’d the location and prepared a shot-list for each of the groups, aimiing to give each piece an organic and intimate feeling, drawing the viewer in.
