-
Worked together with the agency and heads of department to pre-visualise how each shot would work, assisting Future Deluxe in the creation of an animatic to get every shot signed off.
We have a history of working closely with agencies that specialise in 3D, in part due to serendipity, but also in part due to our own love of 3D. We have worked with Future Deluxe a number of times over the years, for brands including Adidas, The Glenlivet, De Beers and many others. When they got in touch on this project, we jumped at the chance to work together again. We presented a budget along with a technical and creative approach and were awarded the project in what was a fairly tight turnaround time.
The Brief
Once appointed, we immediately got to work confirming heads of department from our wider pool, getting the right people in the right positions, supported in production was essential. Our Production Manager Ziqi Wang was immediately on top of creating a rough production schedule and starting to reach out to relevant people and locations.
Our cinematographer Thomas English with his many years of experience in commercial and love of 3D was a key lynch pin in bringing this together. His knowlege of the equipment to capture the style of Technocrane shots our Director Jonathan Nicol wanted was invaluable.
We presented several options for Photographer and our good friend James Hole was selected. James’s talent with light and lens, along with his excellent ability to quickly build a rapport with models in front of him allowed the process to be smooth. The result was that he fit effortlessly into the shoot days and ran his team as a consummate professional.
